Sexual Health Clinic


Charter Medical have opened a sexual health clinic located in Smithfield. This discreet walk-in service offers full sexual health consultation. Hours of opening are Monday to Friday, from 8:30 am to 5 pm.

Once you arrive at Charter Medical please take the lift to the 3rd floor and follow the signs directing you to the ‘Screening Centre’ where our admin team will discretely greet you. You will be looked after by our staff in a friendly, relaxed, personalised setting, while also respecting the integrity and confidentiality of each patient.

Is this service confidential?

The law guarantees your confidentiality. Your Charter clinical records cannot be shown to your doctor or insurance companies unless we have a signed request from you. 
 


Cervical Smear Test

  • We are registered with Cervical Check, therefore smear tests are free

  • Your smear will be taken by female member of staff.

  • Your test results will be available within two weeks.

  • This is a fully computerised service and is linked to the Mater Misercordiae University Hospital and Nation Virus Reference Labortary.
