Charter Medical have appointed BT Ireland to supply Wide Area Network (WAN) infrastructure to their diagnostic imaging centre at Smithfield. BT will use their class leading MPLS suite of products to provide telecommunications connectivity between Group sites. BT have been appointed on the basis of their proven reliability in delivering similar type projects on budget and in the required timeframe.

Shane O'Neill, Network Administrator at Charter , says that "The BT proposed solution is highly scalable, will allow for ongoing Group requirements, and will facilitate the convergence of voice and data in the future".
