Charter Medical Group have successfully concluded negotiations with Siemens for the purchase of a range of medical diagnostic imaging equipment, including:

  • Magnetom Symphony MRI
  • Somatom Emotion 16 CT
  • MULTIX Swing X-Ray
  • Sonoline Ultrasound

The Group's first diagnostic imaging facility will be located at Smithfield Market, Dublin city centre and is due to open in May 2006.

In a comment, Executive Chairman John Gallagher said "The purchase of state-of-the-art diagnostic imaging equipment from a supplier, whose capacity and track-record are second to none, reflects our commitment to quality service provision to both patients and the medical community".
