Dr. Richard Aboud is the Medical Director of Charter Medical. He is a Practicing GP and has a variety of clinical special interests including sports and orthopedic medicine, women’s health and postgraduate medical education. He brings a vision of the highest standard of community based medical services in support of patients their family doctors to Charter.

Dr. Muhammad Amir Majeed - Senior Registrar in Gerontology

MBBS, MRCPI

Dr. Majeed had been an integral part of the St. Mary’s Rapid access team at Charter Medical since 2007. Dr. Majeed attained his Medical Membership from the Royal College of Physicians of Ireland and was conferred in 2003. He has a special interest in general medicine and medicine of the elderly.

Dr. Alex Lockley - Senior Health Officer

MBChB.

Dr. Lockley graduated from Leicester University in 2005, gaining experience in the large teaching hospitals there for two years in general medicine, cardiology and cardiac surgery before relocating to Ireland in 2007. Since then he has continued to practice on the front-line of hospital medicine in Dublin and its surrounds before joining the Health and Wellness Department at Charter in July 2011.

Ms. Mary Mullen - Clinical Nurse Manager

R.G.N. H.Dip. in Gerontology

Ms. Mary Mullen is a Clinical Nurse Manager (Senior Grade) and brings a wealth of experience and expertise to Charter. She has a high nursing credential in Gerontology and as one of the foundation senior members of staff at Rapid Access and has been instrumental in the setting up and running of this award winning service. She has a special interest in geriatric medicine and insists on constantly maintaining "best practice”.
