Background:
The Charter medical Group (www.chartermedical.ie), Ireland’s foremost centre of clinical excellence in geriatric medicine in the community is expanding its scope of operations and opening a medical homecare’ division.
This service will be unique in Ireland as it will for the first time provide fully integrated medical care to compliment homecare packages. The clinic’s team of care assistants will be supported by a fully integrated nursing team who will provide 24/7 triage care and a team of geriatric consultants and registrars based at Charter’s clinic at Smithfield, Dublin.
The candidate:
We are looking for five suitable full time qualified General Nurses (RGN) with at least 3 years post registration experience.
Requirements:
• Must be registered with An Bord Altranais (ABA)
• Must have experience in care of the older person
• 3 references available
• Other experience – CPR, Infection control, Manual handling
• Excellent communication skills
• Knowledge of HIQA
