Mole Mapping

Charter Medical Group offers full body mole mapping or individual mole screening for any worrying moles or lesions.

Mole Mapping involves the examination and screening of any suspicious moles or lesions through digital imaging them to access their specific structural features. Mole Mapping is a procedure involving the digital imaging and diagnosis of skin lesions. This entails a thorough, detailed and non-invasive investigation of the skin.

The most effect way of combating malignant melanoma is by diagnosing it at an early stage of its development. The key to early detection is to monitor moles for any changes in shape, size or color; mole mapping provides a baseline reference for tracking moles by documenting the entire surface of a patient’s skin photographically.

If you have had exposure to the sun or use tanning salons, you should consider skin health assessments as part of your regular health checks.
