Radiology Overview

Charter Medical Diagnostic Imaging Centre (CMDIC) was the first facility to open at Charter, receiving its first patient in June, 2006. All our equipment is entirely new and other facets of Charter have then developed around this core facility.

We provide a range of radiology services which include MRI, CT, Ultrasound, Plain X-ray and DEXA.

Headed by our team of Consultant Radiologists, Charter’s Radiographers and Patient Liaison personnel provide high clinical standards in a patient friendly environment. We integrate diagnostic imaging technology and expertise with Information Technology solutions, embracing and developing teleradiology solutions to create a high end Radiological service. For example, we can offer a Consultant Radiologist with sub-speciality expertise reporting on sub-speciality examinations so our neuro examinations are reported by a Consultant Neuroradiologist, our muscoskeletal examinations are reported by a Consultant Muscoskeletal specialist etc..
