Charter Medical is delighted to announce we have opened an Urgent Geriatric service for insured patients.

This service is consultant lead and will offer appointments within three working days of the request being faxed.

The following conditions are ideally suited to this service:

• Faints
  
• Falls
  
• Dizziness
  
• Cognitive decline
  
• Weight loss (unexplained)
  
• Palpations
  
• Specific and non-specific pain
  
• Any condition that a GP feels a Geriatric opinion is merited

Patients will undergo a full medical and nursing assessment and as clinically indicated - 24 hour ABPM, 24 hour Holter, ECG, ECHO, MRI, CT, DEXA, x -rays and carotid dopplars. Haematological investigations will be at cost.

We are very excited that this service will offer patients an easily accessible comprehensive Urgent Geriatric service at exceptional value.
